OCS Student Artists Selected for Salt City Select Exhibition

Several talented student artists from Onondaga Central School District have been selected to participate in the inaugural Salt City Select juried art exhibition, a new regional showcase organized by OCM BOCES.

The exhibition will be held at the Everson Museum of Art from May 16–24 and will highlight outstanding student artwork from across the region. A public reception celebrating the artists will take place on May 21 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

The following OCS students were selected to exhibit their artwork:

  • Sydney Fiaschetti, Grade 11 – Beaded Mask (sculpture), teacher Mrs. Beckeman
  • Kori Bloom, Grade 10 – Pyramid Container (ceramic sculpture), teacher Mrs. Beckeman
  • Carolyn Andino, Grade 12 – Flute (charcoal drawing), teacher Mrs. Passetti
  • Lyana Halsey, Grade 12 – Guitar (charcoal drawing), teacher Mrs. Passetti
  • Mariana Frazier, Grade 11 – Candy Colors (acrylic painting), teacher Mrs. Passetti

This recognition reflects the creativity, dedication, and artistic talent of OCS students, as well as the support and guidance provided by their teachers. Congratulations to all of the students whose work was selected for this exciting new exhibition opportunity!
