Wheeler Fifth Grader Named WonderKid in “Future Scientist” Category

Fifth grader Corey Pickering has been nominated and selected as a WonderKid in the “Future Scientist” category through a contest sponsored by WonderWorks at Destiny USA.

This special recognition is awarded to students who “exhibit a passion for the sciences and live each day as innovators and discoverers, hoping to change the world through their love of science.” Those words perfectly describe Corey’s curiosity, enthusiasm, and dedication to learning.

As part of this honor, Corey earned the opportunity to participate in an exclusive webinar with Military Aviation Veteran Brian Moles, giving him a unique chance to learn from a professional in the field and explore real-world applications of science.
