Onondaga Jr./Sr. High School Presents Senior Athletics Awards

Onondaga Jr./Sr. High School hosted a ceremony where the following athletes were presented awards. 

 

The Earl Fletcher Sportsmanship Award was presented to:

• Madelyn Schultz

 

The A-1 Trophy Award was presented to:

 

• John Toomey

• Hannah Schultz

 

This year’s Varsity Club Distinguished Athlete Award went to:

 

• Jesse Recor

• Ella Donath

 

The Onondaga Athletics Perseverance Award, presented to two student athletes who have shown that they refuse to quit in the face of adversity, was presented to:

 

• Ryan Troch

• Jaiden Bellinger

 

The Section III scholar athlete award was presented to two seniors who were both stellar athletes in their respective sports while excelling in the classroom at the same time:

 

• Emanuel LaMacchia

• Deshea Lettsome

 

The recipients of the Barb Olson Competitive Spirit Award were:

 

• Damon Hollister

• Gabrielle Davis

 

The Comeback Athlete of the Year Award was presented to:

 

• John Welch

• Aliyah Mattox

 

The Most Outstanding Award is presented to an athlete that has participated in multiple and diverse sports and has been awarded all league status for performance or recognized by a committee of opposing coaches. These individuals are often regarded as assistant coaches for the leadership qualities that they possess:
