Morgan's Message
Students in grades 7-12 attended a virtual presentation during spirt week that discussed eliminating the stigma behind mental health. Presenters Clare Kehoe and Dona Morgan (Morgan's mother) presented Morgan's Message. Morgan's message strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student - athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health. This program doesn't just focus on the athlete, it is meant to reach all students. The goal of this program is to expand the dialogue on mental health by having conversations, empowering those who suffer in silence and supporting those who feel alone. We look forward to bringing this program to the Junior / Senior High school with some student ambassadors in the spring. Please feel free to reach out to Mrs. James for more information or look on the Morgan's message website.
Thank Mr. Mumford and Mr. Swanson for giving the students the opportunity to hear this important message. Also, thank you to Mr. Dolloff for setting up the presentation.
