Welcome! The Onondaga Central School District is located south of Syracuse in upstate New York nestled in a valley with rural surroundings. The district provides a tranquil environment in a picturesque setting, yet enjoys all the major cultural advantages of an urban area within a 20 minute drive. A staff of 190 full and part-time employees, three academic buildings, preschool, a transportation center, and administrative offices commonly serve an enrollment of approximately 750 students, Pre-Kindergarten to twelfth grade.
Please note: Immediate need for certified substitute teachers ($140/day) and substitute teaching assistants ($115/day).

| School Bus Drivers/ Substitute Bus Driver | Looking for a good paying part-time job with the same days off as the kids? Onondaga Central School District has vacancies for part-time school bus drivers and long-term substitute bus drivers. You must be at least 21 yrs old, have a driver's license, and like working with kids. No experience necessary, but it's always appreciated. Training for the road test can be provided. Just stop in to the bus garage at 4457 South Onondaga Rd., Nedrow, NY 13120 (right next to the High School) and pick up an application or apply on OLAS.
