2026 Capital Project PASSED 170 to 42

Dear Onondaga Central School Family and Community,

We wish to offer a sincere thank-you for your support of the 2026 Capital Project. We are humbled and grateful for our community’s response, which will ensure our students continue to learn and grow in exceptional facilities for years to come.

Your support for this project will help to modernize a dynamic industrial arts building and instructional greenhouse, oversee the updating of kitchens at Wheeler Elementary and the Jr./Sr. High School, address key infrastructure repairs and upgrades, support essential green initiatives and enhance school grounds and athletic facilities. Thanks to NYS building aid, capital reserve funds and debt retirement, we can carry out this project with no additional increases to you, the taxpayer.

With these changes, we reinforce our goal of an engaging learning environment and renew our stewardship of some of our community’s greatest assets.
