Dear Onondaga Central School District Community,

I am writing to you today with gratitude and excitement as I join the Onondaga Central School District as your superintendent of schools. It is an incredible honor to be selected to lead this district, and I want to extend my deepest thanks to Board President Mike Kobasa, the Board of Education, and the many stakeholders whose input and engagement shaped this search process.

I am truly looking forward to meeting the students who make this district so special; from the early learners at Rockwell Elementary to the growing students at Wheeler Elementary and the young adults at Onondaga Junior/Senior High School. To the families, the dedicated staff members, and the broader community: I am eager to hear your voices and learn firsthand what makes Onondaga such a unique place to live and learn.

Hearing students describe this district as a caring community with a vibrant sense of family tells me everything I need to know about the soul of Onondaga Central. Having started my own journey in the small, rural community of Copenhagen, N.Y., I know firsthand the profound impact a tight-knit district can have on a student’s life. I am committed to leading with a deep appreciation for our shared values and ensuring that these personal connections continue to empower every student to achieve something extraordinary.

I look forward to partnering with all stakeholders to build upon the strong foundation that exists while creating new opportunities for our students to thrive in a changing world. Together, we will continue to pursue our strategic goals:
