Maker Time

One of the missions of the Rockwell Library is to provide a student-centered environment that promotes the development of information literacy, the use of technology, while encouraging creativity. Technology and maker skills have become a driving force in the work place, community and for personal use, therefore teaching our students how to utilize technology is important and a necessary part of library instruction.  During the school year, all students (K, 1 & 2) will be required to participate in a maker time class. During this time they will will be exposed to a variety of maker space, robotics, and technology tools. Here is a list of some of those tools students may be exploring during that time.
